Nice set.. really nice.. enjoy

Try your spacial sense

I had a feeling like the noisy parts are too prevalent.
I switched to primary monitors.. and, nope, everything is all right ;)
Try it your self.

I guess I have to study this more. It surely helps me to tune the piano much better. ..http://ruipenha.pt/beatings/

Střešovická Kramle

If you ask me what would I suggest you to go in Prague* to see (experience), my brain will be jammed with emptiness for a while and then I’ll whisper “Střešovická Kramle”. They are fierce, full of jummy beats and high over-drived guitar tones. The voice is dark, texts full of depression from long gone infancy.

No matter how it is good, the only problem is that you have to ideally know them for a while, that adds much more sense to it, and also, the most important part of the whole music is their real presence. I would say, their presence is half of the music.

Enjoy the other half..

Real life poetry

I just like the way how she almost sings it, and it more then true as well.
She could even fill up a hall and run awesome concerts I would like to go.

Teardrops of the sound

What is important on a sound is not it’s uniqueness, but that it is something deeply known. Something that is part of your experience already. Something that has been inside of you the whole time, only this time it is closer to the water table so you can “see” it. It is like a fish in the ocean, You might not see it your whole life, buts it inevitably part of the ocean.

The “Touch the sound” documentary is just about that. About a sound we carry within our selves. It is definitely something you have to hear.

The rest is noise

I dropped acidentaly in the book store where I found a pretty thick and heavy book “The rest is noise“. It took some time till I pick the book in my heand turn aside a bike for a while and started to read. I must say, it is interesting to go through the sound history the way the book offers.. though it is hard to .. impossible to “visualize” the sound that you read about.. still it has a big inpact on the way I started to think of sound and listen to it.

Those who don’t want to wait till the book arrives, check the sound patterns on Alexe’s site http://www.therestisnoise.com
